Owner: Sara Olivieri First, and foremost I am a parent, just like you. I have two children, Ethan and Kaitlyn. And just like you I wanted to find a way to balance working and earning an income with taking care of my own children. So that is why I decided to open this daycare. Second, I am an educator. I graduated from Geneva College in 2004 with degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have taught in the Fairfax County public school system for 2 years and also have taught in a daycare setting as well. Also, beyond the formal child care setting I have taken care of various age children for the past 10+ years as a babysitter and teaching Sunday School at my church. Third, I am a Christian. Therefore, I will be including prayers before meals and snacks. I will read Bible stories, and I will strongly encourage Christian values. This is not to say that if you and your family are not Christians you are not welcome here, or that you will be made to feel uncomfortable for not being a Christian. This is simply to let you know that I will be teaching the children about God and Jesus. Finally, I want you to know that I am so excited at the possibility of taking care of your child. While they are in my care they become part of my family and I will care for them in that way. |
